Traditional Thai Reflexology is a hands on branch of Traditional Thai Medicine, with teachings directly from authentic sources from Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai. The original knowledge and techniques were carefully guarded secrets kept by the Buddhist monks of the Thai Royal Palace. They have since have been passed down through the generations.
Thai foot reflexology works on the feet, lower leg, and knees, freeing up blocked energy in the body’s Sen energy channels and organs to create a feeling of deep relaxation, balance, and well-being.
The therapy will start with a prayer to Jivaka, Physician to Lord Buddha, and after a cleansing foot soak of Thai herbs and massage using Buddha Balm Thai body oil, over 80 combinations of knuckling, kneading, massage and acupressure with and without a Thai wooden tool using Buddha Balms natural Thai Foot Balm, will help bring equilibrium to the client. There are 10 energy lines abundant in the body, connected to different emotions, functions and areas of the body, they move vital substances and are the pathways for PRANA and FLOW, PRANA is the Sanskrit word for “life force” or “Vital Energy”, in Thai it translates to ”The Wind of Life”.
